One-to-one coaching

I work one-to-one with people who believe it is possible to do work they care about without losing themselves in the process or compromising on their potential for joy and accomplishment.

The people I coach are thoughtful, ambitious and already doing well by external measures. What brings them to coaching is a growing sense that their work and their life do not fully represent what they really want.

Often, they know something needs to change. What’s missing is the time, space and support to think properly, be honest with themselves and decide what to do next.

Coaching creates that space.

I work with people who are carrying responsibility and ambition and navigating change. This includes senior leaders, founders and people shaping the next phase of their work or life.

Many are people-centred and values-led. They tend to think deeply, care a lot and hold themselves to high standards.

They are not looking for motivation, performance hacks or someone to tell them what to do. They want space to think clearly, make deliberate choices and build a way of working and living that feels more true to who they are.

Coaching is sometimes funded by organisations and sometimes commissioned personally. Both are common.

Who this is for

Practical details

• One-to-one sessions of 60 minutes

• Usually fortnightly

• Online or in person (Sheffield)

Some people work with me for a few months to navigate a specific situation. Others continue longer as their work and life develop.

How I coach

My coaching approach is conversational, reflective and practical.

I listen carefully, ask questions that help you think more clearly, and then reflect on what I’m hearing so assumptions and patterns become easier to see.

There is no fixed programme and no attempt to tell you how to live or lead. We work with your real context, your responsibilities and what you want your life and work to look like.

From that clarity, practical next steps usually emerge naturally.

Next step

If you’re curious about whether one-to-one coaching would be useful, the next step is a conversation.

I offer a no-charge, no-commitment trial session so we can talk it through and see whether this feels like a good fit.

Fees

£500 per month for two fortnightly sessions

Same fee whether funded personally or through an organisation

A minimum commitment of three months applies, so the coaching has time to be useful.

CEO Pathways

Chris very quickly got me to a place where I could speak my truth rather than the strap line I had for years. By doing that, I could then discover what my actual goal was.
